I Pray For A Titus Man

I pray, my God, for a Titus Man

A man

That has a plan

A man

That is blameless

 A steward of God

Not self willed

But is skilled

Not quick-tempered

Not given to wine

And wants to be mine

Not violent

Not greedy for money

But loves to call me his honey

Is hospitable

Is sober-minded

Is just

Someone I can trust

Is holy

Is self- controlled

And never withhold

His love for me

A man

Holding fast the faithful word

He may be able

By sound doctrine

Both to exhort

And support

Me

 Able to

Convict those who contradict

And know his wife

 God, You picked

I pray, my God, for a Titus Man

A man that has a plan

To love You with all his heart

Soul and mind

In the name of Jesus, Amen

I can see this poem being taken up as a prayer for many girls seeking a godly man as a husband. It is a great example of what a woman should desire in a man for a husband but also an example that all men can follow as they seek to be godly husbands and fathers. I think I may leave my computer open so my husband will see your poem and read it. lol

This is the form of a perfect husband. Every quality that a girl dreams of. I want a man like that too! Awsome poem.
