Silly Poem ~Dreams~

I want to be a professional skater

I can show you my tricks later

I want to be a drummer

I learned how in the summer

I want to be a professional horse trainer

I promise I won’t be a complainer

I want to be a movie star

I will buy a house and a new car

Mom, what do you think?

You can be whatever you like

This mom wanted to be a lawyer

Or even an employer

I had dreams too

But God knew

I was supposed to be

Your mommy

 That is the best dream for me

Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.”
