Bridegroom

I stand gazing into the heavens

Waiting and watching for You

I call out

Come, Jesus

I want to see You come through

As a bride I left up my eyes

Waiting for my Bridegroom

To take me to the wedding

And lead me to the dining room

I’m here to meet with You

Do you see my lamp?

In this early morning dew

It’s bright in the night

Waiting here just for You

I will stand gazing into the heavens

Waiting and watching for You

I will call out,

Come, Jesus

I want to see You come through

Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

Matthew 25:13

Another beautiful poem that challenges all of us to draw closer to Christ. I hope it warms your heart to know people reading your poems are examining their own hearts and considering what the Lord requires of them. My own husband just read this poem...and from your time stamp you just posted it. He said, "Wow, that really makes me think." If you knew him you would know that is something for him to say that.

I can't wait until Jesus comes back to the Earth. Once He comes again things will be perfect. I love all the poems that you write.
