Silence

A life in silence is no life at all
To not hear the Words of my God
I’m lost, I’m desperate, and I fall
I cry out, “Here I am, LORD"
Please, come and lift me up
Speak to me; let me hear your voice
I will seek and wait, I’ve made my choice
I hope my prayers will be sweet smelling incense
You hold my prayers in a golden bowl
I will run this race with my eyes on the goal
Please LORD, give me the strength to carry on
I will pray all night till early dawn
O LORD, I feel all alone, please speak
Life in silence is no life at all

Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
Revelation 5:8
