Number Slumber (Tercets)

Waiting for a phone call
Drives me up the wall
I guess I’ll sit here and wait

All day and night
Wondering if everything is alright
Just call me that will be great

What is going on over there?
I really want to know, cause I care
When are we going on our date?

You ask me for my number
And now you’re in slumber
No longer will I wait

This type of poem is called a Tercets. Tercets have three lines.

Don’t have a bible verse for this one. ©All articles and comments on Dinky’s Hum Drum Journal are the property of Bridget Sherman and are Copyright protected.

I always wait for people to call or text me but they never do! It's kind of funny though.
