Alone is a Bore (Limerick)

Staying home all alone is a bore
 Can’t stand being here anymore
So off I run
Go have some fun
With someone I really adore

We went for a hike on a hill
Soon we ended up with a chill
Hiked back down
 Both have a frown
So off we go to Brazil

Staying home all alone is a bore
Can’t stand being here anymore
So off I run
Go have some fun
 With someone I really adore

We stayed out dancing all night
Looked up into the sky, how bright
Talked and walked
Walked and talked
It was such a great delight

When you write a limerick, make sure that it has the same AABBA rhyme pattern. Make sure it also has the same 3 DUMS, 3 DUMS, 2 DUMS, 2 DUMS, 3 DUMS rhythm pattern, too.

night A
bright A
talked B
walked B
delight A
I still like the way I write poems, from the heart. What about you?
There are so many ways to write a poem.

I really like how you showed how to write a limerick. Praying for you.
