My Prayers For Others

Father, I come to You,
Show me what I need to do.
Show me what to pray for,
Lead me to an open door.

I sit and wait for Your direction,
Who needs protection?
Who needs healing?
I pray to You, kneeling.

Who needs comfort to the soul?
Whose life needs to be whole?
Who’s lonely for friends?
Who needs to be cleansed?
Who needs to be fed?
Whose mislead?
Who needs a home?
How about those who roam?
How about the children without a dad or mom?
I know, You hold them in Your palm.
How about the widows all alone?
Make Yourself known.
How about those who need Your touch?
I pray they know You love them very much.

Father, there is so much to pray for,
I give all my prayers to You.
And I trust Father, You will come through.

I thank You Father, for receiving my prayers
Thank You Father, I know You care
Thank You for sending Your Son
I ask for Your will be done,
In the name of Jesus,
Amen

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men

Great poem. You must be a person who is very effective in your prayers. The kind of person I would want praying for me when I need prayer. An excellent model or guideline for prayer.
