Anger and frustration is easy to get
Hotheaded and bitterness, then we fret
Selfishness and greediness is pleasure to no one
Words of hate out of our month, it hurts a ton
Why do we allow our flesh to get in the way?
If only we would kneel and pray
Where do wars and fights come from?
They come from your own desires for pleasure
We lust we covet and do not have
We desire for more and bigger treasures
Let’s not war or fight
Just come to God and ask Him
He knows everything we need
Our cup is already full to the brim
If only we would recognize all that we have
Be thankful and praise God for sending His Son
Maybe then we will not war or fight
Because see, the victory has already been won
Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
James 4:1-3
