Kings Bed

Sweet Jesus lay in a manger
Immanuel, Our Savoir, Our King,
A manger is a feed trough for animals
But you see, food Jesus did bring

Jesus is the Bread of Life
We eat from His Word
We feed on His faithfulness
That’s what I read and heard

We have life in Him
We come to eat of His flesh
We come to drink of His blood
So we may become afresh

Come and taste the word of God
Delight in Him, our daily bread
Baby Jesus is born for you and me
The Angel of the Lord came and said

A Savior, who is Christ the Lord
Is born to you this day
I come and worship You
Jesus, You are the only Way

And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
Luke 2:7

Missed reading your poem today. I went back and read some older ones. You have some memorable pieces. You are indeed one of my favorite poets.
