Why LORD, why do I need to wait?

I want to leave all this mess,

There is way too much stress.

When will you make things straight?

Why LORD, why do I need to wait,

Can’t you see all the pain?

All he does is complain,

My heart can’t deal with this hate.

Why LORD, why do I need to wait,

I ask You what should I do?

I don’t want to be so blue,

I have too much on my plate.

Why LORD, why do I need to wait?

The LORD say’s,

“Wait I ask you, wait on Me

I will strengthen your heart,

I will give you a new start.

My work, you can’t see

Wait I ask you, wait on Me.

Be of good courage,

Don’t be discouraged,

I will set you free.

Wait, wait on Thee,

Wait I ask you, wait on the LORD.

Trust that I know what you need,

Continue earnestly to pled.

I promise you will be restored.”
